Refund & Subscription Policy

Clevaly offers a free plan and paid subscription plans (currently Student and Pro).

Paid plans provide access to additional features, including:

• Higher monthly limits on AI study actions and Cleva messages
• Premium study generation features
• Larger generation limits, such as more images per note
• The ability to purchase additional study-action packs

Clevaly also sells one-time study-action packs that add usage to a paid account. Subscription features, limits and pricing may change over time.

Subscriptions are billed according to the plan selected at checkout.

Depending on your selection, subscriptions are billed:

• Monthly
• Annually
• Through other billing periods offered by Clevaly

Where a free trial applies, billing starts when the trial ends (see section 8). Study-action packs are charged once, at the time of purchase.

By subscribing, you authorize Clevaly, applicable app stores, and payment processors to charge the applicable subscription fees.

Unless cancelled, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period. Your payment method will be charged automatically using the billing information provided.

You may cancel at any time before the next renewal date to avoid future charges.

Users may cancel subscriptions at any time through:

• Account settings
• Applicable app store subscription settings
• Other cancellation methods provided by Clevaly

Cancellation stops future renewals.

Cancellation does not immediately terminate access to paid features. Access generally remains available until the end of the current billing period, or until the end of the free trial if you cancel during a trial.

Deleting your Clevaly account does not cancel a subscription bought through an app store. Cancel the subscription first.

General rule

Subscription payments are generally non-refundable.

This includes:

• Partial billing periods
• Unused subscription time
• Unused study actions or credits, including purchased packs
• Failure to use purchased features
• Charges that follow a free trial that was not cancelled in time

Refunds may be considered in limited circumstances, including:

• Duplicate charges
• Accidental multiple purchases
• Billing errors caused by Clevaly
• Technical failures preventing access to purchased services

Approval of refunds is determined at Clevaly's sole discretion unless otherwise required by law.

If you purchased a subscription through:

• Apple App Store
• Google Play Store

refund requests must be submitted directly through the applicable platform. Clevaly cannot issue refunds for purchases processed by third-party app stores. Users should review the refund policies of the relevant platform.

Clevaly offers a free trial on eligible paid plans. The trial length, the plans it applies to and the platforms it is available on are shown at checkout. At the time of this policy, new subscribers in the mobile app receive a seven-day free trial of Student or Pro.

• No payment is taken when the trial starts. You have full access to the plan you selected for the length of the trial.
• When the trial ends, the subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription and your payment method is charged at the price and billing period shown when you started the trial, unless you cancel before the trial ends.
• Subscriptions started through the Apple App Store or Google Play must be cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid being charged, in line with those stores' rules.
• If you cancel during the trial, you keep access until the trial ends and are not charged.
• Free trials are limited to one per person and per store or payment account. Users who have previously subscribed to or trialled a Clevaly plan may not be eligible for another trial.
• Where notification permission has been granted, Clevaly sends a reminder before a trial ends. Not receiving this reminder does not change your responsibility to cancel before the trial ends.
• Charges that occur because a trial was not cancelled in time are treated like any other subscription payment under section 5.
• Clevaly may change, limit or withdraw free trials at any time. Doing so does not affect a trial that has already started.

Clevaly may modify subscription pricing at any time. Reasonable notice will be provided when required. Price changes generally apply to future billing periods.

If an account is suspended or terminated for violating Clevaly's Terms of Service:

• Subscription fees are generally non-refundable.
• Access to paid features may be revoked immediately.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers. Clevaly does not store full payment card information. Users agree to comply with the terms of any payment provider used to process transactions.

Initiating fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in:

• Account suspension
• Account termination
• Loss of access to paid features
• Additional review of account activity

Nothing in this policy limits any rights users may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
