Sharing, visibility and folders

Who can see a set, how share links work, and how to group sets into folders.

Visibility

SettingWho can see it
PublicAnyone, including in search and on your profile
UnlistedAnyone with the link, but not in search
ClassMembers of the classes or sections you allow
PrivateOnly you

New sets are public unless you change it; notes are private unless you change it. Edit the set to change visibility, and use allowed classes to share with a class without making it public.

Choose Share on a set or folder to get a short link like clevaly.com/_AbC123xyz9. Private sets cannot be shared; make the set unlisted first. Set links of the form clevaly.com/c<id> also work and can point straight at a mode, for example /learn or /match.

Folders

Folders group sets across classes, for example everything for a final. Create one from the Create hub or the command menu, then use Move to folder on a set. Folders have their own Flashcards and Match modes over every term inside and appear on your public profile at clevaly.com/@username/folders/name.

Collaborators

Add collaborators to a set to let classmates edit terms with you. For class-wide building, use a collab assignment instead. See Assignments and collab sets.
