Personalize how Cleva helps
Give Cleva standing instructions about focus, tone and study style that apply to every chat and generation.
Under Settings → Cleva you can write up to 1,200 characters of instructions. They apply to every conversation and to generated notes and sets.
Examples that work well
- “I am a first-year nursing student. Use clinical examples and keep definitions short.”
- “Explain in plain English first, then give the formal definition.”
- “I study in French but my courses are in English. Show both terms when it helps.”
- “Do not give me the answer to homework problems. Walk me through the method instead.”
What Cleva remembers
Cleva keeps a working memory of things you tell it about yourself across chats and check-ins, for example that your midterm moved or that you prefer evening study. It is scoped to your account and used only to help you. There is no separate memory screen yet; if you want something forgotten, tell Cleva in chat or email support.
Your school
Adding your school under Settings → Account helps Cleva, timetable import and course-site matching understand your institution.
