Browser extension
A side panel for Chrome, Edge and Brave that imports Moodle course pages, saves any web page or PDF to a class, and keeps sync fresh.
The extension adds a Clevaly side panel that follows whatever tab you are on. It uses your existing clevaly.com sign-in, so there is no separate login.
Install
- Open Settings → Integrations and choose Get the extension under Browser extension.
- Add it to Chrome, Edge or Brave.
- The welcome page walks through three steps: make sure you are signed in to Clevaly, allow your school's Moodle site, and optionally connect Moodle sync.
On a Moodle course page
The panel lists everything on the page and flags what is new since your last visit. Pick items, choose a topic chip for each, and import. Files become class material, folders bring every file inside, links are followed (a PDF becomes material, anything else a note), pages are saved as notes, and quizzes and assignments are listed under Coursework so their deadlines reach your class.
Across all your courses
- Your courses — after you open Moodle, the extension checks every in-progress course in the background and offers Import N per course or Import everything new.
- Due soon — upcoming Moodle deadlines with one click to add them to the class syllabus.
- Auto — flip it on a course card and new files import without asking.
- Badge — the toolbar icon shows how many new items appeared since you last looked.
Save anything from the web
Use Save page as note, Save selection, Save PDF to class or Save lecture video from the panel or the right-click menu. Captures go into a private Web captures set in the class you pick. Alt+Shift+S saves the current page and Alt+Shift+C opens the panel. Typing clevaly then a space in the address bar jumps to one of your sets.
