Connect Moodle
Sign in through your school's own Moodle login, link courses to classes, and let files sync into the right topics.
Connecting Moodle lets Clevaly pull course files into your classes on its own. You sign in through Moodle's own login page, including your school's SSO and two-factor, and Clevaly only receives a read-only app token. It never sees your password.
Connect
- Open Settings → Integrations on the web, or Settings → Integrations in the app.
- Under Course sync choose Sign in with your school on the Moodle card.
- Confirm your Moodle site address. It is suggested from the school on your profile or from what other students at your school used; paste it if it is not there.
- Sign in on your school's page. When it finishes you return to Clevaly with the connection active.
Link courses to classes
The Your courses table lists your Moodle courses. Courses whose code matches a class link automatically; for the rest pick a class from the dropdown or accept the suggestion marked same course code or similar title. Turn on Auto for a course to keep it syncing, or press Sync for a one-off.
When it syncs
Sync happens when you visit your course site with the browser extension installed, and daily otherwise. The card shows the last sync time. If it says your course site no longer accepts the saved sign-in, choose Reconnect and sign in again; that happens when the school rotates sessions.
Disconnect
Choose Disconnect on the Moodle card. Files already imported stay in your classes; nothing new is pulled.
For what happens to files after they arrive, see Course sync and import modes. For the extension, see Browser extension.
