Connect Canvas or Brightspace
Canvas connects with a personal access token. Brightspace connects through your school's sign-in on the web or in the app.
Canvas
Canvas does not offer a single app login that works for every school, so Clevaly connects with a personal access token you create in Canvas.
- In Canvas go to Account → Settings and choose New Access Token. Give it a name like Clevaly and leave the expiry blank or set it for the term.
- Copy the token. Canvas shows it once.
- In Clevaly open Settings → Integrations, find the Canvas card, confirm your Canvas URL and paste the token.
- Choose Connect Canvas. Your courses appear in the table; link them to classes and turn on Auto where you want ongoing sync.
Brightspace
Brightspace connects through your institution's own sign-in. Open Settings → Integrations, choose Brightspace, and confirm the URL we fill in from the school on your profile (or paste it if we don't have it yet). Approve access on your school's page. Linked courses then sync the same way as Moodle and Canvas, and files show up on the web too.

If the URL we fill in is wrong, the connection fails, or your school uses a different platform, use Wrong site or a different platform? on the Integrations card, in the extension, or on the guide. One report is enough for everyone at your school.
