Privacy, reporting and blocking

Control what others see, report a set or a user, hide content you do not want to see, and request your data.

What is visible to others

  • Your username, avatar, public sets, public folders and stats on your profile.
  • Your real name only if you turned on Show real name publicly.
  • Sets set to Public or Unlisted, and Class sets to the classes you allowed.

Classes, course files, notes, timetable, private sets, progress and Cleva conversations are never public. See Sharing, visibility and folders to change a set's visibility.

Report content

Use Report set from a set's menu. It opens an email to support pre-filled with the set id and author; add a line about what is wrong. Copyright complaints follow the copyright policy, which lists what a notice must include and where to send it.

Block

Block set or block a user hides their content from search and profiles for you. Blocks are kept on the device you set them on and can be lifted from the same menu.

Your data

Settings → Help & privacy → Request your data sends an email asking for an export; we reply with a copy of your content. The privacy policy explains what is collected and why, and Delete your account covers removal.
