Delete your account
What deletion removes, what to do first, and why it cannot be undone.

Before you delete
- Cancel any subscription or free trial. Deleting the account does not cancel it, and a trial would still convert. See Manage, cancel and refunds.
- Save anything you want to keep. Print sets, copy notes, or request a data export.
- Leave any organization you belong to. Accounts that are members of an organization cannot be deleted until the admin removes them.
- Disconnect course sites and AI agents if you want to be tidy; they lose access anyway once the account is gone.
Delete
- Open Settings → Danger zone.
- Choose Delete account.
- Type your username to confirm and continue.
After deletion
Copies may remain in backups for a limited time before they are purged. Content you shared publicly and that others duplicated stays in their accounts, as described in the data deletion policy.
If you only want a break, turning off notifications and Cleva check-ins is reversible; deletion is not.
